Krista Taylor - Founder
Qualified in anatomy & physiology, aromatherapy and massage therapies, Krista has been researching, formulating and perfecting the Scence range for years alongside developing the fully compostable packaging.
Krista has a hands on approach and is involved in the daily running of Scence, as well as marketing and customer support.

Melanie StIles - Director
Formulating is Mel’s passion and she is in charge of production and product development. Qualified in anatomy & physiology and massage therapies, she has a solid understanding of the integumentary system and is constantly researching new natural and effective ingredients for her formulations.
Clean, fresh, natural plant oils and butters are combined with care to hydrate and support the skin – Mel’s inspiration comes from the power of nature and understanding the balance and harmony of good combinations.
Sarah van baalen - customer support
Growing up in Cornwall and around the fishing industry gave Sarah a love of the sea and anything related to it. She is rarely happier than when out on the water in some form of craft, or on the beach.
Having worked in education in science for the past 16 years, Sarah is truly passionate about the environment and loves working with Scence as it is a brand she believes in.
Sarah helps to look after your order along with supporting Krista in the daily running of the business and Mel in production.
Andrea Taylor -
Lab Technician
Andrea Taylor is our much loved Lab Technician. She graduated with a music degree at Falmouth University and is naturally creative and passionate about nature. Her role as lab technician allows her creativity to flow while taking care of production.
